This first screen is the Welcome where you log in to the system. It will have your clubs name rather than 'The Social Club'. To start simply enter your username and password. You can log in as an operator to operate the draw or if you wish to change any of the draw parameters, such as the cost of a bet or the percentage profit, you can log in as an Administrator. Each user and administrator can have their own username and password.
This screen shows all the draws that have been pre-configured for your club, we will configure this screen to meet your exact requirements. You can choose from Tote Double, Tote Treble, Bingo Forecast and Letter Tote draws. They can be configured as rollover draws, limited to be drawn on a particular day and named to reflect the activity or section of the club you want to promote. Just use the arrow keys or touch screen to choose the draw you want and press the Continue button. If you would like additional draws just contact touchtote systems and we will be happy to set one up for you.
This is the main screen where you can sell the tickets. The Draw Summary section at the top left of the screen shows the progress and it updates with each ticket sale.
On the right is where you enter the bets for the ticket. You can see exactly how much each bet costs and the total cost of the bets placed on the ticket. This ticket is showing that ten bets have been placed, the last bet is a singles bet consisting of the numbers 3,5 and 11 which costs 10p and the total stake so far on this ticket is £1.00.
When you have finished entering bets for a customer press the 'Ticket' button to add the bets into the system and to print out a ticket for the customer.
A PIN (Punt Identification Number) remembers a set of bets, so if people like to place the same bets each week you only need to enter their PIN to retrieve all the bets, this makes it extremely fast to enter the bets.
It is also very easy to set up a new PIN, just enter the bets as normal and press the Save Pin button before printing the ticket. When the ticket is printed it will have all the bets on it and a PIN that can be used in future draws to retrieve the exact same set of bets.
A great way to boost sales. Just press Lucky to generate random Single bets, By default it will generate 10 separate single bets.
You can generate any number of lucky dips by using the number keys before the Lucky Dip button. So for example pressing '3' then 'Lucky Dip' will generate 3 Lucky dips.
As the jackpot increases you will find people will want to place Lucky Dips in addition to their normal bets.
Similar to the Lucky Dip Single but generates a series of numbers where each combination of three numbers is a singles bet. Just press Perm to generate a random Perm bet, By default it generates the equivalent of 10 bets by choosing five random numbers. Again this type of bet is very popular and encourages your customers to take additional chances.
When all the bets have been placed it is time to do the draw. This screen shows an actual draw just before betting is closed. The summary box at the left hand side shows the takings for this machine and, in brackets, the total takings for all the tote machines. You can see that a small amount (£3.00) was taken on another Tote Machine, making the total takings £719.90
Betting must be closed before the draw can take place. Once Betting has closed the system will not accept any more bets for that draw. A printed slip will detail the takings, available prize fund and the exact time betting closed.
Shows all the winners and the final calculations of shares and profit. The results show that there were four shares of £119.00 each. The winning tickets A21, A129, A262, and A275 each hold one share. The draw summary shows the available prize and profit (the profit was set to 33.34% of the takings) available to the draw. The printed slip will show a prize pay-out of 4 * £119.00, a total of £496.00 in prizes and a profit of £240.90, The prize shares are rounded down to the nearest 50p and the remainder (£1.89 in this case) is added to the profit.
This screen shows the Bingo Forecast draw it was started with an amount rolled over from a previous draw. The only difference in this screen is that a number pad is used to enter the bets, rather than individual buttons (its difficult to add 90 buttons to the screen). However the keyboard that accompanies the system does have all the numbers from 0 to 90.
Once you have mastered one type of draw you will be able to operate any of the draws.
The winning numbers for the Bingo Forecast are usually the first and last numbers of the late flyer on the bingo.
This screen allows an Administrator to change the properties of a draw.
You can set the maximum entries permed to prevent a customer from 'buying' a share, although there is no guarantee that the value of that share will be greater than their stake.
The cost of a bet can be set differently for each type of draw as can the percentage profit.
The cap on prize money is not available for this draw but on a rollover draw it could be set to limit the prize pay-out, any remaining funds would be rolled over to the next draw.
Auto PIN is a feature that may be useful when a draw is first introduced into your club, it will automatically assign a PIN to the placed bets so that customers can place those same bets in future draws. If you have an existing system that uses a PIN we can extract data from it so that the same PINs will available to this system.
Expenses deducted allows you to set a side an amount to cover the expense of running the draw, it will be deducted from takings before profit and pay-out calculations are performed.
